I didn't see this thread, called the Prather station today. She said "June 15th possibly sooner".

 

It is my pleasure to announce the following trails have been opened to the public by the USFS as of 6-9-12
If your in the Central California Area (Fresno) or you have plans to travel this way, please check out these trails, and let me know. I may join you.:thumb:

Red Lake Trail (open
Strawberry Lake Trail (open)
West Lake Trail (open)
Brewer Lake (open)
Mirror Lake (open)
Swamp Lake (open)


A big thank-you goes out to the 4-Wheel Drive Club of Fresno for maintaining these trails and prepping them for public use.
I will update this thread when more of our local trails open up for the summer.

 

Headed up on Monday for a day trip to Red and Coyote with my buddy Mike. Should be fun!

Brewer Lake is now open to the public.

 

Brewer is nice to camp at.

 

Just got word that Spanish Route is now open for public use.
Also a crew will be going in soon to clear Swamp of 9 fallen trees, and minor things to repair.
Scheduled opening day for Swamp is Sunday July 1st.

Shuteye Peak L.O. trail is open.
