Default Ham Radio in Cen-Cal

Studying up for the HAM exam!!
Anyone else wanna get their license? it's only 15 bucks! And I have the question pool with all the answers! Let me know if you're interested, I can get ya a link to it! I'm pretty sure JKabob is gonna join in too. If we can get a group goin, we can all test at the same event.

Took the exam several years ago, wish I could remember the questions. I have a couple of books if you need them. Good luck!

I should do this...can't seem to transmit with the CB maybe a ham would be better

I would Love to Ty. I just really wonder how involved it is to learn it. I think having a Ham is a great idea for trail. It will be a great addition to the Fema Certs that Dori and I are talking about getting in the future.

Don't you have to learn Morse Code too? What all is involved, I doubt I could learn it before the first of the year. Didn't you already take the test Ty?

It's just a 300 question pool ya gotta memorize. Only the answers are shown so if ya read through it a couple times, you should be able to pass. i failed the first time by 5 or 6 questions. That was with one quick read of the pool of questions. You dont need to learn morse code for the first tech license

yeah ok...that would be a big FAIL for me...my wife says i forget everything...300+ questions?......I'm just gonna buy a better CB
