So far we have not had enough people with the experience on those trails to lead other groups, which limits what (and where) we can go.
For now, all the people volunteering to help have been needed on the basic trails.
I am hoping we can change this (maybe not till next year?).
Last year (sorry 2010), we tried to take a more experienced group further and go up to Lyngham lake, but the group didnt move quickly enough to have time to include it.
If we have more returning people then we might be able to concentrate on a more challenging trail like we did in 2009. That ended up working out really well, but that was thanks entirely to Help from Trickcyclist and maybe a good bit of luck that the different groups actually met where and when we had hoped.
The best way to do this properly is to get 2 or 3 volunteers with knowledge of some of the more experienced trails willing to lead a group.
Maybe there will be enough time for some previous JKJam'ers to run those trails and volunteer.
(I will be going to the run on May 26th organized here on the forum with the old date of May19th, this might be a possible JKJam trail if we get trail guides for it)
I'll definitely be there if I am not out in BC for work. The job was just delayed again until at least mid may. If it gets push back to after the 26th I'll be there, but I might not get an update until the 11th hour, again
