So then would this run be too intimidating for a couple of noobs? I mean, I don't have that much experience under my belt either, but I have seen what my JK can do, so I'm not too worried...

The Beer Run is pretty straightforward (at least it was last year), however the other two trails will present a challenge for stock trucks in a few places. As I mentioned in previous posts, there will most likely be some scraping (of the underside) and possible side damage if you do not have rock rails. However, every possible attempt will be made to spot you through all obstacles so that you will not sustain any damage (but, there are no guarantees).

As far as the other TJ is concerned we already have 11 trucks (albeit 3 still to confirm), and i think that number is high enough (especially as it's stock truck with a noob driver). The bigger the group the slower we are.

Let's wait until we get confirmation from the others, and see where we are. In order to get everyone through the more difficult trails, I would prefer that the modified rigs outnumber the stock ones.

hey Simon,

sorry about the late reply, it looks like I won't be able to make it, I'm in the middle of home renovation and I'm falling behind schedule. I'm leaving in 3 weeks for Europe and I want everything done before the trip. You guys have fun and take lots of pics !!

Ok getting the jeep back tomorrow so I am in ladies

And Norm's TJ is better than a stock TJ rubicon ;-)

But don't know if I will do all the trails depends on time my family misses me and how long it takes to get everyone threw the mod run

Off course I'm in! Nothing really serious at weir, so I'll be at Marco patate at 8h00 for breakfast with the familly, the dog, tools, cb, motorola, lunch, the winch, the Jeep and a lot of joy!I'll try to bring the sun too but not if he will be available...
