I thought the rocker panels/side steps where there to prevent damage. Doesn't removing them expose the tub to damage? I have the Rocky Mountain edition X model ..so I have side steps like a Sahara on 17 inch wheels.

I bought a set of tow hooks of another memebr of the forum ..installing them this weekend along with my CB ... trying to be ready for the run! ..

FYI - I have some 4-door Rubi rails that are on their way to the garbage. If anyone wants 'em, PM me to pick 'em up in Longueuil...

I agree - I would keep the steps on to protect your sides.

Good news about the tow hooks!
