Nice shots guys

and we'll all have to go again

Remember lift then tires then more lift again because of all the crap we put on during the process ;-)

So may as well go for a bigger lift tha originally intended?

By the way, I didn't break my Jeep durinmg the Beer Run, even thou I made it through with a few hard knocks (wonderful skidplates!!) , but.....
started to fall asleep on the highway getting back ..woke up fast when my front bumber and left fenders scrapped the guardrails!

Pic to follow.

Well, the little trail run at Chertsey turned into quite the event. 11 Jeeps in total. Some folks travelling from far and wide (St Jean sur Richelieu, St Hyacinthe, Ste Anne de Perade):

Trick Cyclist (2dr Sahara modified)
Guitarguy (2dr Sahara stock)
MAW (2dr Rubicon modified)
Patsav (2dr RM edition stock)
Neoxxis (4dr Rubicon modified)
Doum (4dr Sahara stock)
Alext (4dr Rubicon modified)
Norm (TJ)
Goldorak (4dr Sahara modified)

We also bumped into an ORA buddy run and they also joined us

Treemagnet (TJ)
Tracklock (2dr Rubicon modified)

So on to the first trail - the Beer Run. Last weekend was the ZukTrails at Chertsey. It showed. The trail, supposedly a stock trail, was very torn up and very muddy with the recent rain. Most of the trail was OK; it was a couple of places we had problems. The modified guys made it through a heavily rutted, muddy climb, but the stock guys needed to be winched through to the bypass. Even after the winching they still had to do a tough hill climb. All made it through - it's pretty impressive what the stock Saharas on slicks can do. Some nice flexing from Norm on a 'big ass rock' at the end of trail.

After lunch, on to Fender. No mud - just really tight through the trees. All came through without incident.

Off then to Mount Robmore. A short trail uphill followed by a very steep (and long) descent. A lot of fun. Even more fun was going back up. The stock guys got up fine and gave the BLD a work-out.

Lastly to Hailstorm. We did not do the full trail as apparently the Zuktrail weekend turned a relatively easy run into something more wild. We played on the rocks and the modified guys tried a steep muddy/rocky descent and ascent for a couple of hours. Everyone made it down and up without too much trouble.

Finally, back to the trail head to air up and start the convoy back home. No carnage and good times.

Thanks to everyone. Good times. Great to make new friends and hope to trail with you again real soon. Looks like the next trail is on MAW - Weir will be fun.

I didn't take many photos, but here they are. Thanks to Steve (Guitarguy) for taking the videos.
