Central & Southern NJ/PA Lift install prices-all over the place!
I have shopping around for prices to do the lift and tire install on my JK. I have called Five people so far.
Camper Bobs in 08048 - camperbobs.com/-$635- lift install,
alignment, tires, spacers everything-2 days. 1 day for install one day for
adjustments
( previously have done a 2.5 inch lift on my TJ 4 yrs ago)
American truck center in 08097--$475 lift install alignment, tires, spacers- one day for install
Jeeperz 4wd in Pa-10841 jeeperz4wd.com
$885- all the same services as above
OK 4wd- ok4wd.com/ in 08886- $850
My buddy has offered to do it and he just did his lift on his 2 dr jk(for the first time) and is willing to help me do it. He has a hydraulic lift and just about everything i need to do it. I'm just scared of the Jeep being "off" after the lift install. I don't have the expertise to make my the adjustments I need to make it perfect.
So what I have a 2009 4 door sahara. I bought a 3 inch teraflex(basic) with the Tera wheel spacer(1.25) and Bilstein 5100s for the front and rear and a matching Steering stabilizer. I have chosen 35 inch Coopers STT's for my tires that I will mount on my powdercoated stock 18's.
I just dont know what to do. SHould I have a shop do it? Should my buddy and i attempt it? Don't know but I have about a week to figure it out.
Let me know what you think. This is my first post by the way, pretty exciting!

Thx for the reply, I would love to do it my self, learn and save some money. I'm just worried about any complications. I think it will be fun though and I really want to do it myself but I have never done it and I didn't know what to expect. My buddy has done his at least so he is gonna be a great help. As soon as my spacers get here I'm gonna get started, I will let you all know how it goes. Thx for the advice

Not to mention there really shouldnt be anything that needs to be aligned when installing a basic kit.
I'm convinced, I will do it myself. I just have to wait for my the last of my stuff to come, Still waiting on the shocks and the spacers. I appreciate the help, I'm about as green as you get with the JK. I will post some pics when we get done with it.

Ideally try and install it yourself or maybe try and host a meet up with food.
Its empowering to learn about how it all goes together, etc.
But if you're really short on time and have the extra $ to spend - I'd recommend either No Excuses in New Egypt or OK4WD. Both have been reliable for me.
PM me if you have any questions.
