Upstate New York
Where in "upstate" are you? I think in a previous post on this thread someone mentioned Whispering Pines. It is in Lyons (between Syracuse and Rochester). I finally got out there this fall and it has some pretty good trails you could check out.

Im in Middletown, and have declared myself a mid-stater if asked.
I'm out near the Casino in Vernon, NY. Just got the new JK a couple of weeks ago and can't wait to go out and get into some mud. I've been on a 7-year Jeep Hiatus due to the need to have a truck. That was just remedied and now ready to go jeepin again. Just PM me if anyone wants to get together one of these evenings or weekends and then have a frosty adult beverage afterward!

I'm from Kingston, NY. About an hour south of albany and 1 1/2 hours north of New York city. I'm always looking for people to ride with and trails to go on. Pickings here are slim
and i actually drove out to Mass. last time I went wheeling. I'm willing to travel a little ways to meet up with some good people even if it's a real mild trail.

I was excited to go home on leave with my new JK remembering all the cool places to go up near Russell NY which is in St. Lawrence County. I had a good time driving some of the old roads, but the DEC has shut off alot of areas and made them walk paths only. There used to be a couple of river crossings over Plumb Brook, but now there are huge bolders blocking the path. Seems the best option is find someone with private land.
