Oh well, if not pop in a better then factory (and probly cheaper lol) clutch. I think centerforce is making a clutch for the jk 6m.

out of curiosity - how much is a new tranny (ballpark)?

I am hoping to avoid having to buy one. I bought the jeep less than a year ago and I have warranty. I think my saving grace, though, is the fact that I had the issue when I bought it and the dealer said "don't worry about that, we'll take care of it". I'm holding them to their word.

Member out west had to replace his tranny $5-6K was his estimate from the stealership!

I just had a call from the dealer. They have it all stripped apart and they say the only issue they see is a little piece of metal by the pressure plate. Parts are on order and she's going to be fixed up tomorrow.
