He's talking about you taking your tire carrier off. Never heard of it as bobtailed but it makes total sense hehe. Think of your jeep with tire carrier as a cat with a tail and with your tire carrier off a cat with no tail or stub. :P

Bingo, shortened rear end = bobtail lol. I opened some boxes today. Brightened my mood. Stan forgot my cb antenna mount but the rest was all there, I'll call him tomorrow and I'm sure he'll fix it.

Hahahaha yea it is! I'll have to get some pics of my two wheeled messes lol. My barn is full of pieces and bits and bobs.

1978 cb 750 needing chain brakes carb cleaning and a seat.

2001 kx 250 torn to the frame for powder coating and a totally new clutch. Basket ect.

2001 cbr 929 with a single sided swingarm, dirtbike bars, one off low mount exhaust, rd350 headlight, r1 throttle tube......

Hahahaha. Too much stuff on the go.

I think I'm gonna try to install my lift tomorow but after a 2nd inventory of the parts I'm missing my brakeline extensions too. Def gotta call Stan and get this straightened out. All my stuff was left on my doorstep in the piss pouring rain when there is a barn 10 feet on way, and he walked by a shed with an open door on the other side. Not his fault but still not right.

I know it's the wrong thread, but I thought I'd update here. Just got off the phone with stan and he apologized and said he must have forgotten them in the pre SEMA rush. He's packing them and will have them out the door today.

Along with a set of white ipf headlights lol. Fuck I gotta stop calling parts suppliers.

Great guy, great service, I highly recommend them.

Today I took apart my brake pads calipers and rotors. I chipped all the caked on mud off cleaned everything and put it back together, also lubed up the axle nuts and checked my diffs for fluid contamination and levels, all were good.
