Can't believe i'm just seeing this. Wish i had known sooner. Ended up doing a Clutch/Flywheel/Pressure Plate swap on an Audi A4. Would have much rather been wheeling. Next time i guess.

Hey, How does CO do with the Dynamax Evolution competition exhaust? Will I get crap for having one if and when I need to take my rig in for emissions?? Im in AZ most of the year and they couldnt care less, just need to know how my Home-state would do.

Thanks!

How do you like the Dynamax Evolution competition exhaust? I've heard some say it's loud.

I'm hoping the emission roadside rapid scans will clear me from having to get an emissions test. I have 35" tires and I heard they are too large for the emissions testing machine. Anyone emissions test with 35" tires?

I do not have it. I was wondering if people had it in CO and knew how the emissions people dealt with it, like if it was ok or what not.

No. We had the hardest time getting my brothers rig emissions tested 2 summers ago cus of his 35s. We had to take off my front stock tires at the time and put them on his rear just so they would test the damn thing.

Saw a bunch of Jeeps lining up in clear creek canyon up by Black Hawk this morning. What trail is open up there. I swung by Yankee and it had a gate closed. Didn't know what else would be open this time of year.

I was there today and we ran Yankee Hill. It was fun and the snow made things interesting in places. I didn't see any closed gates but we went in at an old cemetery if that makes sense

Yea I wandered around 3 of the cemeteries. Found the one that looks like a log cabin. I must be confused about the Yankee Hill one then. I went down the only road I knew, and there were like 5 trucks with trailers and never did see where they were going. I went directly west of where they were parked and hit the gate. turned around went over Oh my god road went up to George town ran most of Argentine pass to about 2 miles short of waldorf. Snow got to deep, and came inches of slipping over the edge. Got a little spooked not having anyone else there and no recovery gear on my daily driver. Then came back down and watch the audi's running the George town Ice races.

Default trip on friday?

Hey everybody, myself and another jeep are trying to do some wheeling this friday (2/5). Any chance anybody would have suggestions on open trails, trail conditions, or anybody want to get a big group together? Let me know!
