Yeh!! A Colorado thread. Dryest winter on record here in the Spgs. But the cold was too much for me. Went to Tucson for a few weeks to warm up and hell, it froze down there. The palm trees all froze, and snow on the Catalinas's every night. Did go up Bald Mt. last week, very little snow until the last mile or snow. The gate at the top was open, but snow drifts were a bit much to get to the top. Ready for spring, but I think winter isn't over yet. April and even May could give us some much needed moisture. And... the Buffs got screwed in the NCAA Basketball picks.

Wonder if anyone knows the two jeeps listed below..
1. I see the same white JK driving down University every morning around 8 am. White, probably 3-4" lift, 35's or 37's, Flatties...??
2. Saw a red JK at University and Arapahoe going to El Senor Sol.. Red, Black Wheels.. 3" lift, front bumper.

Let me know if this is you..

Default Posted this in the Denver JK group as well.... Meet and greet

I think the group out in cali calls it a suds and grub... I think ksrubicon and five-o jk have tried to organize something like this in the past, but not sure of the results.

It would be nice to get a regular group meeting going on for everyone in the Colorado Springs, Castle Rock and Denver area. I think southern Denver or the Castle Rock area is a good place to meet. I am willing to organize this.

Who is in?

A couple of members out of Castle Rock have been really good about organizing these down south of here. They had one about a month ago. I've been trying to make these, but just haven't worked out with my schedule.. Anyway, I'd be in to meet. I'm near the Streets of Southglenn....

We did the trails around the Hayman burn area last weekend. Almost no snow and only some mud. Metberry, Hackett and Longwater Gulches.

Ya we just had one a couple of weeks ago in Castle Rock and thought we decided to do another first part of April if I remember right. Was a good time with a good turn out. Five-0 JK usually gets this going and has a few good places to meet.
