Default Denver Trip Question

I am heading to Denver soon and wanted to do some light duty trail riding with the family. Anybody have any suggestions?

Check out this link for for some ideas.

Other than that maybe consider picking up the Charles Wells book (spiral bound 2nd edition) to find and navigate the trails while you are out there.

We may have different ideas about light trail riding, but Fall River Road in Rocky Mountain National Park should be a family pleaser...

Yeah, traildamage.com is a great resource for finding trials, and I've found their reviews to be pretty reliable to. There a a ton of opportunities, depending on how far you're willing to travel.

Fall River Road is a great scenic drive (not much of a "trail" though), just do it early before the clouds move in and ruin the views.

I like spring creek, and have taken the family there twice this season. However, you may find this more than you like depending on what you consider an easier trail.

It also depends how you are built, locked, and tire size as to the difficulty.

Thanks for the responses. We are not locked and basically stock so light duty is all we can handle. Will also need to drive 1,000 miles back home in the vehicle so can't risk any damage.

I'm headed out that way this weekend as well. Not sure my exact plans of time line but I know I've got all next week to kill. I'm also looking for lighter trails, after some reading, seeing some pictures, etc.. getting more concerned about rolling solo!

I'm in Denver for the next few days with the wife, Hoping to hit some trails and general exploring.
Anybody in the area want to possibly meet up and play trail guide? Yes, I've looked at TrailDamage.com (awesome site) but would feel better not going at some of these alone! Plus, some of the trail descriptions on TD are a little frightening!
