Ok, now... easy, easy... back away from the firearm...

Can we just agree to disagree here? Maybe even some friendly wagers when my devils stomp the sh*t out of those little kitty cats!? Ok, see, there I go again. My bad. I'll keep that under control the best I can.

FYI... I have ASU license plates that say FORKM!

It's all in good fun, although, I'm always down for a lil' wagering

I spy'd your plate in some of those photos you posted, very cool. I also was a lil' cocky when ordering my custom plate.

If anyone's looking for a great trail in "cool country", I would recommend Payette Draw (sometimes spelled Pyeatt) located just north of Payson in the Tonto National Forest. This trail follows a creek bed and changes every year. There is a forest service road that criss-crosses the trail at quite a few spots, so if you decide to exit the trail before the end, there's numerous spots that this can be done. On a scale of 0 to 5, this trail is rated somewhere between a 3.5 to 4. There's a waterfall (dry) rock ledge at the end that usually requires winching for most. I've made it once (luck) on my own, but the pucker factor was pretty high.

No one has yet replied to what weekends in July would work so I'm going to drop trying to coordinate one in July. Maybe in the Fall.

Where are the details for the August run to Sheep's Bridge? I know where it is but haven't been out there yet.

BSG,

Sorry we hijacked your thread. The only advise I can give you about trying to organize a wheelin' trip is to make the date and time and hopefully people show, if you give enough notice it'll happen. When you try and ask others what dates would be good for them it's a nightmare, nobody has the same weekend available and it turns into a mess. Trust me, I've been through it. Just post up date and time, who knows maybe even I'll show up.

I did set a date and no one was free. So I asked. July just might be a bad month. I'll try again later.

Yeah sorry for gettin side tracked and jacking your thread Brew. That Payette run sounds great. I havent done it but have seen some pictures. I am running either Sat or Sun... or both maybe even. Sat a group is going up to the saddle on 4 peaks and then hitting the El Oso Mine trail. I guess there are some options coming back down that can be figured out on the spot. Sun might come together that me and 3-4 other jeeps will run the backroad to Crown King (from Lake Pleasant if you havent done it). That would be nice to get into the trees and a 7k elevation. I beer and lunch at the saloon in Crown King and then Old Senator Hwy the backway into Prescott. Again, I am not for sure on these, and will be taking my 6 year old if I can make it. I will know Fri what I am doing. Let me know if any of you would like to come along.

Brew, I agree. Just post something up and they will come. I usually cant/dont commit until a couple of days before. Again, sorry for the hijack earlier.
