Looking for a fun run in July (Central Arizona)
This won't be a run to CK. This'll be the New River run from Table Mesa Road over to FR 24 north of Seven Springs and then back down through Carefree & Cave Creek.
I definitely plan to do a run up to CK in September.

Run Details:
New River Canyon
Saturday, July 12th
Meet time: 8:00 AM
Meet place: Exit 236 on I-17, just east of the northbound on/off ramps
Run Length: 66 miles (20 through New River Canyon, 13 on FR24, 23 on Cave Creek Rd & Carefree Hwy - back to I-17 at exit 223)
Level of Difficulty: Moderate according to my book. It notes high ground clearance and good articulation are needed. Only one "tough spot" is noted but it does not say what makes it tough. Suitable for aggresive stock SUVs - to which I think the Jeep is...but I could be wrong.
**State Trust Land Recreational Permit Required since we cross some STL land in the first few miles**
Let me know if you guys want more details and please sound off if you plan to come. Should be a 5-6 hour run, max. Bring 2-way radios if you got 'em. And of course bring water and snacks.

I'm in as a tentative. I wont know for sure until Friday though. Wish I could commit one way or the other, but I cant. I'll post up here later in the week, but sounds like a fun casual run if I can fit it in!
