Maybe....I am going to have to check the schedule (ask the wife) to see if we are leaving for Moab, Thursday or Friday morning.

 

I'm excited! There's a trail in Arches that we're going to do.

Steelbender is one of my favorite trails. I've led it a few times.

I've run Cliffhanger 2 or 3 times, but the last time I tried it (last year), it was so badly eroded we had to turn around. I'd like to try it again.

I've never done Strike Ravine or Moab Rim. Both sound like fun.

If we go up, we'd probably be available Friday, Saturday, and Monday.

 

After that you should run a trail with us! You did great on Fins!

 

Strike Ravine is a great trail! If you like Steelbender you will like Strike! And Moab Rim is half day trail or at night!

 

What about Friday the 4th? All trails are open! (redrock 4wheelers are not running any on Friday)

So let's hear what everyone wants to vote for?

 

I was thinking about doing this as well the first week of Sept.

 

i'm game for any trail. i'm driving all night, so i'm going to be tried,sleepy and won't remember it anyway! how about a trail with big cliffs and 1000 ft. drop offs to keep me awake.

 

Okay. Looks like we have a pretty good idea of the trails we are looking at doing...

Strike Ravine on Friday the 4th.
Steelbender on Saturday the 5th.
Cliffhanger and Moab Rim on Sunday the 6th.

Most of us have done a lot of the trails down in Moab but if not these trails will break them in right! They are not too difficult with some good spotting...

Anyone is welcome to join any or all trails with us!

 

what about monday? i want to wake up early, wheel all day, and drive back to las vegas! sleep when your dead!
