Default (off topic) Hiked the ridge at Taos Ski Valley today...

...for the first time. Actually hiked it twice. Did Twin Trees Chute first, then did the Corner Chute. Powder was knee deep most of the way. We may or may not have ducked a rope to poach the first tracks.

Check the guy at the bottom for reference. Next year I'm bringing a real camera. Here's my one and only camera phone pic.

That looks like a bit of a work out! You guys still have a lot of snow up there!

I was talking to my Dad today about going to Goose Lake in early June. I don't think its going to be passable at that time. Especially looking at how much snow is still up there now.

It was a hell of a hike, but worth it. The first time we hit the run you can see here. The second run was all trees from top to bottom. Wish I would have been doing it all year.

I'll scout G.L. for ya when it gets closer to when you and your dad are coming.

Well if I go it will prob be me and the GF. We usually do a week up there in RR but we decided that this year we will prob only do a Sat and Sun thing. Ill let you know as it gets closer. Thanks for looking out
