(off topic) Hiked the ridge at Taos Ski Valley today...
...for the first time. Actually hiked it twice. Did Twin Trees Chute first, then did the Corner Chute. Powder was knee deep most of the way. We may or may not have ducked a rope to poach the first tracks.

I was talking to my Dad today about going to Goose Lake in early June. I don't think its going to be passable at that time. Especially looking at how much snow is still up there now.
It was a hell of a hike, but worth it. The first time we hit the run you can see here. The second run was all trees from top to bottom. Wish I would have been doing it all year.
