Default Jeep Mechanics in Waukegan Illinois area

Anyone know any good shops out there? My buddy has a JK also, and says there are no good Jeep shops in the area he can have do work for him. Any help woud be appreciated

Im in beach park. Best I found is my dads garage. Ha. Nothing is around here.

How far are you willing to travel? There are 2 that I have used... Autowerks in Northbrook and Attitude Performance in DesPlaines.

Not for me, I do most of my own wrenching in my driveway. My business partner has a JK in Libertyville. Amazing you dont see alot of modded Jeeps up that way. So much land to do things, with different terrains.

Anyway, he is new to wrenching so most likely will need a mechanic up there to help do what he wants done.

He needs to learn Lesson #1 all jeep friends are willing to help wrench on anything why pay a shop to do this when you can learn about your jeep and drink some beers with good people and not have somebody rip you off and charge you an arm and a leg to install stuff. Just saying
