Default Lucky!

How could you get any more lucky that it breaking at the dealership parking lot. I mean if it is going to happen where better. You didn't even have to wait on a rollback to come and pick it up.

I know i got super lucky it happened at the dealership!!!

I have a feeling this little bill might put a nice dent in the pocket... i do have a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty on the engine powertrain but well i am pretty heavily modified and have a aftermarket rear drive shaft so i dont know how i will pull that one off but i am going to try my best...

from the other pictures I got from Jake, I am thinking that the pinion bearing grenaded. I am sure there are metal chunks in the carrier bearings. I am thinking, new bearings all around. Best case scenario. Worse, the pinion snapped, the probability of that though is very low. A probability still, but a low one.

1. $190 dollar diag bill
2. $120 dollar flat rate shipping bill for jeep
3. $1000 dollar axle shipped brand new with 18 miles on it

Estimated total: $1400 dollars

Jeep wanted to charge me 2700 dollars to fix my rear diff and that was not even a guarantee it was going to fix the problems... here is what the inside of my rear diff looked like!!!
