You should be able to run those tires with a small lift like CJ said or flat fenders...

you have a few options:
1.buy some flat fenders
2. Cut your stock fenders into flat fenders
3. get a small lift like Old man emu

My questions:
1. do you have rock rails on your jeep?
2. If you do have rock rails are they the rubicon ones?

And i know that at some point i'm going to go with a lift, what's something inexpensive but reliable? I will probably do the lift after my warranty expires so i don't mess that up.

Great to know. I don't have rails yet. The fiancé is getting ancy and wants me to get rails so she can actually get in the jeep without a boost...lol she keeps complaining she wont be able to get in once I upgrade. Been looking at ACE Rails or Rugged Ridge tube rails since I don't do any rock climbing.

Also, been reading up on different threads. With 35's do you need to re-gear and reset the speedometer etc.? If so, the 33's seem to be the practical option until I'm more grounded and they won't look too bad with a slight lift.

what gearing do you have? yeah it throws off the speedo but it shows its going faster than i really am... jeeps do not go fast anyway so it was not to big of a deal

When you go to 315's make sure you get wheels with enough offset, they will be 34" with the wider rims and 35" if go with the narrower rims. As you know I have 2" susp and 1" puck lift and the 315's works great but any less lift and the tires wouldn't work. I'm going to a 3" lift just to have some extra room. Somehow the mpg ended up the same, but with my gearing it is gutless going up hills on the highway.
