Default WINCH OPTIONS and RECOMMENDATIONS please

I want to buy a winch for my Jeep. I don't want to break the bank on it, but after being out to the Badlands a number of times, I can see that it may be worth having. Can I get some suggestions? I have approximately 400 to spend...maybe 500.

Thanks

I have a Recon and love it. Synthetic line, works great, and is right at your price.

I am going to be getting a winch soon as well and trying to stay in the under 500 range. I have heard good things about the ENGO and Recon so far those are the only two that I have found good reviews on in that price range.

Thanks. Sorry about that I am at work and actually had to do something besides the forum, something about being paid to work not Jeep. Who knows what that means? Damn addicting "Whats New"

I got a smokin deal on a ENGO 12000lb. Hasn't disappointed yet. There was a recent winch vs winch test in a popular 4wd mag and ENGO did very well. If I knew the name of the article I'd post it up for your viewing pleasure.
