Sureshot, that sounds like the clutch went out on you. Did it pop to the floor board and not let you do any gear switching? I think we are all glad you are home and at least in the place where you can get around town much easier.

No, the clutch is functional but when I put it in gear (any gear) it just acts like its in neutral. I had both the clutch and transmission go out on me in December and this is how it acted when it was the transmission. And thanks, yea its very relieving to be back home.

no the transmission just died on me. the dealership already looked at it and agreed. Too bad they said they have a back up time of 4 weeks before they can start looking at it. Im going to have to get it towed to the one in tuscaloosa (about an hr away) who did the first repair. all the dealerships in birmingham are backed up apparently.
