What year do you have?

I bought a used soft top last week & picked up the brackets that I was missing & had to order last night at Ewald. Managed to get it installed & now hoping for decent weather this weekend to take the top down - maybe for the drive to Delafield Brewhaus on Saturday for

It does make a difference as far as my tips for you. Anyone can correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the 2012 follows suit with the 2010 and 2011 with the cable assist soft top. I unfortunately have an 08 so my install will differ from yours.

All I can say is take your time, read the instructions a couple times, make sure you have another guy or two to take your hardtop off the first time(it takes a little bit to get used to the weight and lift gate glass), and do it on a warmer sunny day. If you set your top out in the sunlight and let it warm up a little bit. It will make it easier to stretch on. Then make sure you leave it up and in the sun for a while to let the top set in shape. It will help in the long run with taking it off and on.

Oh yeah, don't forget the ice cold barley pop!

Thanks for the tips. Good stuff. I may require more than one refreshment by the time I am done.

Where in Milwaukee are you? I can try to give you a hand. I installed one for the first time on Wednesday night with only minor issues. Of course I don't know how good of job I did since it hasn't rained yet.

Hello All. I'm from Green Bay...it looks like most of you are from the SE. At any rate here's some about me. I'm on my 6th Wrangler over the last 15+ years. Currently 2012 JKU Rubicon on 35's and love it. My weekends are Sundays and Mondays so if anyone is looking to wheel in NE WI on those days let me know.
