Assault rifle pictures - post em up!
Holy cow!
I live in London, England which has a higher crime rate than New York and only the army would have access to guns like these.
Our police don't even carry guns on themselves. If they did then the criminals would start carrying them also. If they're needed they send in a SWAT team armed to the teeth.
If anyone was caught in possession of one of these it's 10-15 years in jail, before a shot is even fired.
Aren't you guys worried that some mentally unstable or very angry person could just buy an assault rifle and kill innocent people, like we have seen so many times in the past in many different countries?
I do have 2 airsoft rifles and a handgun, but I need a license to keep the plastic replicas, need to be over 21 years of age and have to be a member of a club and play airsoft several times a year, and these only fire plastic bb's!!!
What I'm saying is that if someone was to break into a house, they're going to be armed in case the home owner is armed. So really, its a no win situation. I suppose it's too late to change anything as it's now too late.
Yes I think the guns look very cool, hunting is OK but some of these are clearly not hunting rifles they're assault rifles designed to kill in numbers.
That's just my rant, and my opinion living over the pond. We have a major problem with knife crime in the UK, if I knew criminals could easily get their hands on guns instead of knives I would swap the baseball bat under my bed (which is technically illegal) for at least a Glock.

I actually was born/grew up in Europe, so I understand where you are coming from. I have seen both sides & I am a firm believer in the right to carry fire arms.
Ironically, you mention if someone unstable gets a hold of a fire arm. Well, lets bring up Norway as an example. While im not sure on norwegian gun laws, i do know that the norwegian people just dont carry or own fire arms in general.
So when Breikevik decided to pull of hi insane mission, there really was no-one to stop him.
It still AMAZES me (in a sad way) that he could kill 90 PEOPLE!!! He even admitted that he thought for sure that he would get killed and that he carried this out as a suicide mission.
Do you think Breikevik could have killed 90 people in US? lets say in a town in Texas?...
Again, I know the european mentality towards guns, but you just have to come over here & experience this culture before casting stones or forming opinions.
cheers
My wife firing an AR-15. I'm sorry I do not know the specifics, this was the first time we've ever fired weapons like this. We rented the AR-15 .223 ammo and a 9mm Smith and Wesson for my birthday.

You're right, its an ACR, thanks for the clarification. It was nice to fire, I'm glad I picked it. It had a red dot scope that was dead on. Made nice tiny holes in my paper target, one was dead center mass, lol...

The big holes were from the 9mm.
Here's a short video, see if it works...
