You guys could probably get away with this:

lol actually yes. long guns are allowed to be loaded and in plain sight as well as within reach of the driver. though inside of cities you run the risk of getting a ticket for "inciting a riot" or something similar. heck, while i was moving i had emptied one of my gun safes into my back seat. was pulled over for speeding and the only thing the cop did was ask to look at a few of them. it was my assault rifle safe so i had probably 15 ak's and ar's in the back seat.

That's a good idea. Perfectly legal in Texas too.

Excellent, I was worried that was too small a pocket. I love it. That's how my S&W Sigma 9mm rides in my Dodge Ram.

The under seat drawer is a good idea too. That will keep it secure when I am away from the vehicle. I could just leave the key in it while I am there for easy access.

I keep mine in its holster and wedge it in between the passenger seat and the center console, fits nice and snug. If I'm not in the Jeep I have it on my hip.

I do have the tuffy CC drawer but the only time the gun is in there is if I go to the gym or post office or someplace where carrying just doesn't make sense at all...(which that list is shrinking quickly...)

The tuffy drawer is really nice, but I wouldnt personally leave my gun in there and expect to have enough time to reach down there, open the drawer and present the weapon in an emergency situation.

The drawer is best used for storage when you arent in the vehicle!
