I'm tossing around the Idea of Buying another gun..I've been seriously looking at the Springfield XD line of guns. Preferably in 40 or 45 Cal.

Does anyone have any experince with the gun? I'm looking for all feed back..

I have the XD 40 and love it. Fits good, right weight and is accurate, well at least as accurate as I can be. It was a great price and came with a case and 2 clips. Yep go for it.

highly recommend the xdm little more money but fits twice as good in your had with added accuracy comes in same chamber sizes

XD's are great guns. They just came out with an XDM in .45.

I carried my XD9 service for 4 years until I bought a 1911

My first gun was the midsize XD .40. The gun is great loved the features. I hated the caliber. I am not a fan of .40s and will never own another. If you go with a small frame, get the 9 otherwise I'd get the .45. Each to his own. I just think there are better rounds out there and the 9mm is much cheaper to shoot!

I prefer the Glock myself, but you can't go wrong with either. It's pretty much a matter of what fits you best.

seriously though, in any caliber, XD's and XDM's are great guns.

I carry the XD 40 on duty and love it no problems, wife carries XD 9 ccw. Very dependable

I carry a XD40 and I love it for conceal carry. Fits perfect in my hand also.
