At the 1 minute mark a Jeep flashes it's lights. Makes me wonder two things....

1 - How many of you wave to other Jeeps?

2 - Is a flash acceptable as a wave?

I wave most of the time, I would not flash my lights.

 

I flash at night as you can't see a wave. It's a quick flash and only sometimes.

 

I wave when I see them. I feel bad when my girl yells "he totally waved and you didn't do a damn thing" DIDNT SEE HIM!!!!!

Also quick flash at night or if my hand are otherwise occupied lol

 

Personally I wave, but I would consider a brief flash of lights an acknowledgement, so it's all good.

 

My wife does this same thing. Or she cusses the other person for not waving. Sometimes she waves and I just throw my hand up without even knowing here the hell the othr jeep is. Lol

 

x2, mine does the same now, it was funny when we first started dating and I would pass a jeep ith a woman driving and wave and she would go off asking why I was waving at a girl. After I explained to her the jeep wave she gets mad when others dont wave lol

 

Hmm, if I someone flashed their lights at me, I would think there was something hanging of my Jeep or something. I don't think I would interpret it as a wave.

 

Well typically one can look at the headlights of a jeep and tell its a jeep so if I know I have another jeep give a quick headlight flash then they are probably waving

 

I wave during the day, at night I don't worry about it, most folks I know around here really don't like it when someone flashes their light at them at night, first thing they do is check to see if their headlights are on bright and blinding folks.
During day a wave works just fine. If I see another vehicle even a jeep flash it's lights at me in daytime , I slow down because they use that as a signal of a trooper or other police unit ahead here in South Texas.

I have noticed in the last 3 or so months, that about 40% of other Jeepers Wave ,or return a wave. Maybe Jeep needs to show the WAVE in their ad campaigns !
