Sorry it has taken so long, it took longer then expected to get the jeep back and I had to figure out how to post these pictures.

I have been considering one of these. Does the console mount firmly or is there some play in it? Was not sure with the way it connects to the front U-hanger on top of the windshield. Does it affect your vision or view through the rear view mirrorl? The pictures were helpful. Thanks

there is no play in it, it is securely mounted and doesn't move. the console hangs down just above the mirror but doesn't obstruct the view. you just have to be careful not to hit your head when getting in.
