I put mine on the side of the center console next to the transfer case shifter. I drilled out the mounting hole in the bracket and put rubber door molding on it to keep it from moving.

Just an idea.

I ran mine on the top of the dash to the A-pillar, down to my until then used clutch hole, then out to the engine compartment, then back up to the a-pillar... Co-phased 4ft on winshield light mounts. Grounded through bolt.

I used the Cool Tech license plate mount. I ran the coax through the rubber seal under the rear light like they have in their instructions, but then I ran it under the fabric roll-bar padding on the driver's side. I then took off the plastic on both vertical windshield side columns and also the plastic trim on the top of the windshield. I ran the coax through the along the top of the windshield and drilled a small hole through the plastic by the rear view mirror for the coax to come out. I wired the power to the battery and pulled it through the small foam-filled hole in the firewall on the passenger side. I then ran the power up through the vertical windshield side column, up along the top of the wind shield, and drilled another hole for the power supply. I put all the trim back on. Just using a piece of scrap steel I attached the CB to the steel windshield tie-down hook. I put jacks on the power supply, so I can easily uplug and remove the CB if I'm not going to use it.

I have the cool-tech set-up for now, Im going to move the antenna to the tire carrier shortly (going to re-locate the plate to center of the spare).. the coax was ran where the cool-tech directions said to.. the cb (Behemoth Cobra 29) I mounted to the back of the center console, it rests on the rear cupholders and is held in place with a long velcro strap that wraps the console (I remove the radio when Im not wheeling)

I'm pretty slow but - thanks for all the great information. I used the Teraflex mount with the cable run up under the top hinge cover and inside, under the carpet and out next to the center console on the passenger side. Keep the information comoing if you've done something different for others to get great ideas. Additionally....
