I am not "stereo smart" so I hope I am making sense. The Parrot has a little control box about 1.5 inches by 2 inches that goes behind your dash.
Okay, that does make sense! Thanks

The new Jawbone just came out. I think it may have new noise cancelling software or something.

I'm sure you could try any of these for a week, and return it if it doesn't fit the bill

The more I research this, the more I am coming to realize the only thing that may work is something like the blue parrot kit that mounts to the dash where there is less wind.

I run a Garmin 780 with Bluetooth. It automatically stores my entire phonebook, works through the Jeep speakers, automatically mutes the stereo when receiving a call, and my wife says it sounds clear as a bell when talking while driving down the road.

I also put an 8GB Sandisc memory card in it, full of music and my current playlist is over 2000 songs. I'll have to drive for probably over a year before I hear the same song twice. It fires up when I turn on the key, and automatically starts playing music through the speakers. I mounted it above the rearview mirror, and it is difficult to see from outside unless you're looking specifically at it, decreasing the risk of a break-in.

I may have to run that way for a while. I usually dont fire up the GPS unless I dont know where I am going. I have the 680(bluetooth) but have only loaded a couple of songs on it just to try it out. I mounted the flat plate below my window switches and I suction mount to that. It is usually locked in my center tuffy console though.

Anyone try that new jawbone yet? I am looking for a new bluetooth solution as well now since the new CA law. I have a Plantronics 945 (I think), and though I can hear just fine (probably because it's inside my ear, lol) no one that I call can hear a thing. Does anyone have a the Parrot Minikit?

I don't believe in putting the roof or windows on, ever, so if anyone has a good no windows, no roof bluetooth solution please tell. Thanks.

I'm curious about the new jawbone too. Also, I'm curious about the new Cobra CB radio. It supposedly has noise canceling technology

Mopar has a u-connect kit listed on their website for the Wrangler that mounts the mic in the drivers door pillar area.
