Okay guys I am looking at getting a good CB setup in my rig. I would like to get a mounted system and antenna. I also would like to spend no more than $200 for everything (And I can install it myself). What do you guys recommend? (Pictures are always great as well) Thanks!

I know that for the antenna I went with the Cool Tech mount, and will be installing this weekend since my AEV corners arrived today. As far as the CB I am going with the Cobra 75 sw xt, but you can find some for less that are probably better if you don't mind them being mounted either on the dash, or above the rearview mirror. I just wanted something easy to remove, and clean looking.

My CB is a Midland and mounted on the Rock Hard cage, I have an antenna mounted on the spare tire area and run through the tailgate. Only pictures I have is of the CB on the cage.

I have the Midland Micro 75-822 40 Channel unit with the Cool Tech Ultramount / firestick antenna and love the setup! It works great on the trails and was a pretty easy install!

plain simple and perfect (well for me it is)
cobra 29 classic NW off ebay 60$ US to my door
102" whip 28$
mount 13$
18ft cable high quality low loss 50 ohm double shielded 16$

117$ total
being able to receive and send for 13miles and have perfect swr 1
priceless
and not even modified yet

having the same cb that 10s of 1000s of truckers use has its benefits
