I've been looking for a CB antenna mount for the 3rd brake light. I bought a FireStik no ground plane antenna, so I can't be touching metal and I thought this would be the best place for it, plus it would get the antenna above my roof for better reception. Has anyone found a mount that will work with the two screws on the back of the 3rd brake light? Thanks for your help!

 

Haven't seen anything up there. Is this for hardtop or soft?

 

Thought about mounting mine there, but would get hit by the rear window wiper blade. At, least where I was looking at.

 

If u mount it on the side of the light it will clear the wiper. That's where mine is mounted. U just gotta run the ground wire inside or to a good spot cuz the carrier provides a shitty ground. I'll try and post some pics later...

Just make one. Go.to any CB shop or Radio Shack and my a CB mount. Cut.to the size you behind it and ur done. Im using the Teraflex tire one and love it and made my front one. Im running 2 CBs.

Can either attach the mirror mount to your rig on/near the tire carrier. Or in my case, I plan to remove the antenna stud from the mount and mount it directly on my stock tire carrier.
