I would start with grounding it to the body (I actually ran both of my wires out to the engine bay and straight to the battery for the positive, and a ground spot under the hood for grounding it). My CB brain is mounted under the glove box and wires go out passenger side up near the window.

I have the same unit. Mounted my box under the steering wheel, tied the power into the cig lighter and grounded to a bracket on the passenger side of the transmission hump. So far no issues with mine.

So OP what's the verdict? Did you get any further?

Not sure what that module is and can't quite tell where you mounted the box, but the most popular install is the box in glove box, power to battery, ground to body, ground antenna to body as well. Here is the thread I followed: https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...ntenna-install

Maybe someone else recognizes your setup, but I'd recheck power and ground, try a new way perhaps.

Good luck!

All: Thanks again for the help. I'm going to rewire to the ground in the passenger side and re-run to the battery. The cb brain is mounted to the left of the glove box. I'm helping a buddy paint his wheels today, so I may not be able to rewire this weekend. Thanks again for the help all!
