Default My 75 CB

Just ordered my Cobra 75 WS XT kit w/ 4' Firestik antenna. Shipping is 5-10 days (hawaii). I can't wait until it gets here! I plan to install it under the glovebox as I've seen a few on here do. Will post up pics after my install is complete.

UPS is taking their sweet time getting it to me. But according to the tracker, I should have it today, and I'll work on it throughout the week. Pictures will come!

Finally got the pictures from my install uploaded.

Very straight forward install, but that was after reading about other 75 installs. Pictures below

Got a 18' Coax cable, so I ran it up the roll cage instead of under the seat/carpet, and down the a-pillar on the passenger side.

Right Channel Radio didn't send me the SWR meter, so I bought one at Radioshack. Tried tuning the antenna, but it isn't working right, so I'll wait on my SWR from RCR (they sent it the next day after a quick email exchange).

I can describe the issue if anyone wants to try and help out. Maybe adding a ground strap with resolve it?

Where are you mounting the CB itself?

You need to have the plastic washer for your antenna stud on the top of your mount and the bottom of your mount/stud will be the ground

Ah. after looking at some pictures, I thought that I might be incorrect on the install. Thanks for telling me, I will change it tomorrow or tuesday when I get a chance!
