Default Cobra 75WXST Mounting

Hello all!

I just purchased the 75WXST. I've spent a number of hours looking through the posts on mounting options without drilling through the dash, etc. and have found a couple.

Any suggestions for any mounts that I may have not caught that is convenient and looks good?

Which panel are you talking about..the one with the Mic connectors (passenger lower floor) or where the Mic is mounted on the lower picture?

I ran across your post when researching before but couldn't find it again....thanks for the post/reply.

What is (and where did it come from) the attachment you have for the mic in the lower picture?

Here's mine with a cut end of a coat hanger wrapped around the header above the rearview mirror.

And the finished product looks like this:

By the way, you can't see the hanger once the handset is in place.

I found it at Mopar Parts America for $29.00 but im sure you can get it cheaper than that. Its just called a lower panel and is under the instrument panel category.

I went to a local truck stop and bought a bent wire loop that attaches to the button on the back of the mic unit, then has another hook that hangs neatly from the footman loop above the rear view mirror. Cost $3. Here are a whole bunch of similar options:

Click the Cobra 75 link in my sig for my install. You could always run the quick disconnect along the floor if you don't want to drill the lower panel.

Default Thanks...

Thanks to everyone for their posts and pictures. It really helped. I like a lot of them. I'm really looking into Toad/Bullfrogs solution. I think it will fit the bill, although there were some really great looking installs you guys posted!

Thanks again.
