This works for my Cobra 25. Initially, I had the external speaker on top of the dash tray but soon realized that it was messing up my compass. Then I moved it above the rearview mirror.

Yep, zipties and I wrapped the loop with electrical tape to keep it quiet.

Well i installed my CB today. Been searching some websites to get good ideas where to install it. Not alot of good locations. Anyhow i found this one and looks pretty good. For now i just bought a cigeratte adapter and wired it up to my 12v plug. Later i will hard wire it. I pulled off the passenger side panel and tie straped the mount to frame. I also bought a mic mount that uses double sided tape and mounted the mic where you see it in the pics. Works Great. I can here it pretty good. I will probably get an external speaker but it isn't bad down there.

And it is not really in the way. It is a pretty narrow CB and doesn't get in the way of my wifes feet or legs.

If anyone has a pic of where they mounted/how they mounted their full sized CB I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks Chop~
Now this one is funny! let's see................hmmmmmmmmmmm

gonna take my 8" high X 16"wide, by 12" deep full sized CB radidio and hang that puppy over my head?

NAW.........

Think I'll stick with one of the new fangled downsized thingamabobs, 'sides tube radios suck off road.
