HAM OP Roll Call......
Dad gave me his old Yeaseau (but spelled correctly) 2 meter, with a magnetic mount antenae. It worked very well for him. Like I said earlier I am struggling with where and how to mount it. But truth be told I'm having more trouble getting that couch un-stuck from my rear end.
This think is mostly cooling fins so I assume it puts out a fair amount of heat. Therefore I also assume I'll have to have it exposed rather than in the glove box or in the dash. Damn that couch!

I am a new member to the site and I am also a HAM. My callsign is W2FCP and I am located in Clovis, NM. I am working on installing my radios in the JK, I have only had it 12 days now and the weather has not been very good since. This morning I installed my two ARR mounts and my ATAS-120 and Comet CA-2x4SR. Hopefully it warms up a bit more this week so I can run the power and mount the FT-857 and APRS radio.

ID be interested in seeing how you are mounting the ATAS antenna to the Jeep.
Also wondering where the two ARR mount are mounted?
As well as the Comet antenna.
Iv got one and like it so far.
