I appreciate it.
Glad I could help..

Did you hear.........Kenwood is coming out with a new HF radio.... They will unveil it at Daton. Doesn't "look" like anything special tho. They are keeping very tight lipped about it for sure. http://dx-world.net/2009/new-kenwood...ham-fair-2009/
73....
That 480HX (200 watts) is a nice unit I had one for a while a few years ago... I also had a TS-2K, although it is kind of dated (and still expensive new) its a pretty solid rig as well...I've actually had quite a few rigs I'm one of those buy, try, and then sell guys..

I really need to stop screwing around and make an effort to get up to General before I do anything !!

Yes........I made a little "radio journey" myself awhile back. Had a 756 Pro, 2 TS-870s, a FT-MKV Field too. Then ended up with the TS-950SDX. Not to mention when I started....a FT 101B then EE, an IC-735, then the TS-570D.
Yep...they are a lot of fun to play with....!!!

You'll be happy when you get your General's...........SO QUIT SCREWIN' AROUND...!!!.........lol. All in good time.

Now THAT is one nice "HAM Rover". What band/s were you working with that antenna? I would imagine VHF/UHF as it looks almost like a scanner antenna...???
