Default shack rearranged

Hi Dave,
I would like to when I get the tower up. but Nov 7th I go in for major surgery on my mouth, oral cancer, so I will be out of commission , talking any way, for a few weeks. that is why I am going to set up signalink so I can do some digital communication. I never have before but will be fun to learn another aspect of amateur radio.
I am posting a picture of my shack today, like I said they are always changing. I actually got another desk, a bigger one, and I took down all the radios and stuff and cleaned them up and checked all the wiring and put it all back together, minus some of the stuff I was not using. it looks good I think. Comments are welcome!!
Talk to you sometime,
Mike

I looked you up all over the place OM. You have quite an extensive history in HAM radio. Not to mention your shack now...!!!(qrz from your latest call) Holy smokes. And the vintage gear.....WOW. Congrats my friend. I like what you said here...."No radio is allowed into the radio shack unless it is hooked up and working, or else its out in the garage." FB....lol

Oh and thanks for your service running phone patches from Nam. I've talked to a couple others that did that as well. You've got a few years on me. Nixon had just started pulling out the troops when I graduated.

Would love to qso. Let me know if you would like to sked.

73 & FB OM...!!!

Just got my tower up at the house (PICS to COME) So I moved the 857 inside with a (homebrewed ) 10m Inverted V outside Temp to get on the air. The other radios are a TK-280 for local ARES and repeater work and an ft-1500 hosting a internet feed of our local repeter out to the net for all to hear. Yes the desk will be cleaned soon but this is just day 1

The 857 is linked into the laptop for HRD and Amateur contact log as well as programming software for changing banks if needed. Just need to get the digi-peter working next for the aprs coverage and get the beacon in the jeep and then get my Rig-blaster working for digital and get a long wire up with a tuner for when i get my general and........Wow I have a long way to go. Looks like less work in my head.

Here is mine. My HF is via a FlexRadio 3000 running on a Panasonic ToughBook 30 MK.2 on a modified G5RV. 2M is via an old but great Kenwood TM-2570A on a Diamond 50x vert.

I have a Kenwood TM-2550A in my work car, a Yaesu FT-270 (the old mobile, not the new HT) in my old VW van, and a Yaesu VX-7 HT for fun.
