It's the Ultramount from Cooltech LLC. He said it in the first post and the whole thread is about it. A simple Google search will give you the website.

The cool tech package looks like the way to go

I'll use this when I do my install!

Thanks for the info

I replied earlier not sure where it went...I was asking about the gate mount with a fire stick and the midland radio?

Ok so I have everything about 80% done. Found out that I'm about 2 ft short to mount the 18 ft coax under the glove box :( going to buy an adapter and extra coax. Anyways not really liking the part in the directions about removing paint inside the body for grounding. What? Looks like to much of a rust risk. I did not run a antenna ground. Anyone not run a ground or sand away paint.

Finished off with 2 ft. Coax and barrel adapter, quick tune and works great! FYI 4 door owners who wanna run this to under the glovebox go ahead and pick up the extra line.

Getting ready to install a Gatemount, any tips on running the coax?

I have a 2 door and I never have the back seats in, they live on my basement, it was the first mod I did!

You should be fine with the coax and gate mount. Probably have plenty extra with a 2 door. Cool tech actually has good instructions ( upholstery tool will help.). Unlike my wifes thule bike rack, damn sweads

Do you pulled back a bunch of carpeting?

Where did you get the upholstery tool?

No just the edges and follow the factory wires. Got the tool from advanced auto for like 7 bucks. Used it to pop out plastic fasteners and remove panels for versamount. Running coax is by far the easiest part.

Thanks for the info...

I'm sweating the details of the gate mount, specifically the ground

I'm going to be using a midland handheld

Cool tech is closed for a week of vacation so I can't ask them
