The most popular for mobile use is probably the Icom AH4. After that it's probably the SGC SG-230.

A remote tuner and an 8' to 11' whip can often outdo a automated screwdriver style antenna in efficiency. The key is mounting the tuner as close to the base of the antenna as is possible. This means you're the coax run is not carrying the mismatched load. Though the coax runs in mobile setups are inherently short and the losses of even a rather miss-matched load not of great worry, you don't want the coax to have the opportunity to radiate any more that necessary in this environment.
