Hey guys....im trying to find the hole in the firewall to run the power but im struggling with it. Can someone give me some guidance on how to remove the right air vent? I've tried to spin it 1/4 turn in each direction but I feel like I'm going to break it.

Thanks!

Press in on the BEZZLE around it and turn the BEZZLE a quarter to the left. Should slide right out then.

Thanks I'll try that tomorrow. I ordered the kit from rightchannel radios. It came with an 18" cable. Any idea what that's for?

It's only 18" though. I have an 18' one I'm running from the tereflex to the unit.

Sorry- didn't notice the " vs '
It came with an external speaker?
So either the speaker or the swr meter jumper

Remove the side panel from dash on the right side. I know someone mentioned removing the vent bezel first to push out the side panel but I have just used a wide putty knife to pry out the side panel. It is just clipped in and comes right out.

Once you have the side panel out, you'll see the foam filled hole, about the size of a quarter, that runs in under the hood. You can use a wire coat hanger or a wire fish tape.

Thanks. I was able to get it all installed. Unfortunately I broke the end of the coax after I ran it through the jeep. I over tightened it. The good news is that right channel radios is sending me a new one for free this week along with a quick disconnect.

Just installed this and it is awesome!! I haven't put a meter on it but the people that I've been able to talk to say it sounds great.
