Ok can any one tell me if my old cb that I have had for years and have swapped from vehicle to vehicle and now my my jk. It's a cobra soundtracker I haven't used it in a long time but worked when I took it out of my old truck. My other issue is where to mount it, the antenna, and what size and make of antenna to use?

 

Should work,i'm using one that had since the early 80's and works great.I'm using a 4' firestik mounted to the tire carrier

 

Cool :-). How did u mount both? Where do I get good cable and stick for cheep?

 

Mounted the cb above the rear view mirrior,The antenna is mounted on the tire carrier using the supplied bracket from the antenna kit.The antenna i got as a kit,a good off road store would have this or check your local listing for 2-way communication equipment.

 

Do u have a pic of the mounts by chance? .........z
