So where have you been mounting the CB's?
I can't speak for Antonio_crd, but here's what I did. I got the idea from other posts in this forum. It's actually really simple. No drilling (except for the actual radio mounting bracket). I used a couple of 1/4" round insulated clamps and a couple of 3/4" L braces along with some nuts and bolts. I've posted an image of the hardware below and you can see how I used them in the previous posts. Basically, the clamps go around the footman loop (top center hook loop). The L braces are bolted to your radio mounting bracket. (Hence some drilling into that bracket may be required if the holes don't line up.) Nuts and bolts connect the two together. That's about all there is to it.
Cheers.

I just had to add some velcro to the back half of the radio to keep it against the windshield headliner (prevent the radio from tilting).
Some thoughts post-install:
You'll want the mike cord away from your rearview so attach the mike clip on the right hand side of the radio and just feed the cord over to that side and through a retainer of your chosing.
To do this, it's best to to mount the radio as far to the LEFT as possible..to the point of where it almost touches your driver-side sun visor. This way, you can mount the mike on the right-hand side while leaving enough room for the passenger-side visor to move freely.
Thanks again!

I don't know about the 2011s but I imagine they're the same. The previous interiors latch away from the footmans loop so you're free to use the entire loop as a mount.

I had a hard time figuring how to mount my Cobra 29 LX LE with a clean-looking installation. Only solution I could come up with was the Tuffy Overhead console. Works great, slides rearward to allow for installation on the Freedom panels, and keeps the radio secure at all times.
