Hey K 92 I ended up using a big rig mirror mount heres a close up picture of the mount with my old antenna. It's the same mount that Seryoga used from Radioshack. Thanks for the comment on the rig. It will be lifted with different shoes, hopefully by the end of the summer! OH YEA PS DONT MOUNT YOURS WHERE I MOUNTED MINE. IT'S GONNA HIT THE WINDOW IF I PUT THE TOP BACK ON. MAKE SURE TO MOUNT IT ABOVE AS SEEN IN THE POST BY SERYOGA

some have suggested mounting on the side of the console but I have a Uniden510 (very small) and I think it would markedly decrease leg room. There is a company called Arizona Rocky Road Outfitters that makes specialty antenna and CB mounts. Their mount is to the windshield frame above the mirror. I'm sure you've seen the overhead console by Tuffy and I'm sure one could mount inside the console. I want to mount a roll cage, High Rock makes one and Poison Spyder is working on a bolt in and a weld in and that's where I want to mount mine. Let us know where you put it.
