yep today on the way to work I had it on scan and nothing, not one soul...wow I hope is not the CB that's damaged ...

I just called radio Shack and they said the price was $50 for a SWR meter.. , when I said that I needed it only to calibrate my CB antenna and asked if they rent it...he said..."is returnable".... , do yu think he was trying to say...use it and return it.... ..decisions, decisions......

It's much easier to run the cable without the connector installed. It's not that difficult to do. I had to do mine twice because I put the thing on backwards! Doh! ANd I was an Electronics Tech in the Navy for 20 years. I will say that I retired almost 10 years ago. You tend to lose it if you don't use it.

Well I think that the only problem wher the size of the "fitting" would be a problem snaking thru , would be the rubber grommet in the back of the Jeep, as the rest i was able to just oull back the acrpet and done deal...but I'm all set as I was able to solder the tip as required, thanks to my connections at work....
