This a great idea, i was looking for a place to put switches for my locker mod, i even found the exact switch in stock locally at The Source (used to be radio shack).

I did this on my 08. Only thing that worries me is that I have a leak coming out between the two panels on the a-pillar and it runs over my switch. No corrosion so far. Works just fine.

I'd like to put a switch here for fogs - I get needing the special relays and don't care so much about the indicator light. But where can I get factory-look switches to add to that pod?

I've been looking for a solution to mount a couple of switches on my Rubicon for lights and this was just the ticket. I didn't want that aftermarket look of switch pods and your fix looks totally stock. Thanks again for sharing
