Cool, I actually wound up doing some more intensive Googling last night and wound up finding that same site (and ordering it on the spot). Vernnz has also been very helpful with part numbers for the smaller bits (terminals, seals, plugs, etc.) and I went ahead and used your source for the wire as well...

Can't wait to get this done, it's been a long time coming.

Glad you found it! That part was the hardest one to identify and find a place that supplied it.

Glad to be of some help.

I went back and checked my notes and the site. I did look at the logos, but they are white text on a clear background, and would not work at all with my white background lens. Those logos would work best with a dark colored lens.

Default Great work!

Really neat professional job. Where did you find the Bussman fuse block at? I have been looking around to try to find something that would fit at the same location you mounted yours for my 2010 JK. Want to do it once and do it right.

Maybe I missed it, but where did you get the Carling switches? I could only find the ones with a single bulb in it. Curious where you got the 2 LED ones.

Nice write up. I did something similar but I actually run the Powerplant from inside the JK.

Sorry, been out of town for a week.

grady - yeah, as Vernnz I got mine at waytekwire.com.

BadTime - I got the switches at digikey.com. I thought about wiring the winch from inside the Jeep, but decided I liked being able to be outside watching someone while winching them, or I can bring the controller in the Jeep and use if for myself since the controller wire is so long.

WavetheWheat - thanks. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to get the Jeep perfectly clean again. I wonder what a Detail Shop would charge?
