Default Dash Light Power for Otrattw switches

Does anybody know where to grab power for a 5 pin switch on a JK (2015) without power locks/windows? I'm looking to have part of the switch light with the dash lights.

Footwell probably the easiest.

I got mine from the power mirror control so it dims with the rest of the dash lights but I'm guessing you probably don't have that that without power windows...?

Can you add that info to the above linked thread with any wire colors or pics that you may have of it and I'll add it to the index?

I didn't because the footwell light should already be fused and they're LEDs...BUT...a 3A would be the right way to do it.

Is there a gray stripe on that orange wire? What year is your Jeep so I can add it to the dimmable index in the thread?

Not that I recall. There are 2 plugs going to the instrument cluster. You only mess with the black plug. Only orange wire back there. Year 2012.

I copied this mod from one of the other forums...

Okay thanks. A little more work than the footwell or the power window switches but less work than the HVAC controls.
